In recent years, CAE/CFD-based product design processes have been required to deliver highly accurate prediction of physical phenomena as well as speed and efficiency in performance, and design optimization systems have faced with challenges in improving productivity as they are used day-to-day basis. In order to meet these challenges, not only research departments but also design departments of companies are now trying to conduct large-scale, unsteady, iterative simulations more smoothly and easily.

In our "VINAS Users Conference 2007", we are honored to invite several domestic and overseas users of our software products to present highly advanced application examples of CAE/CFD in their research and development efforts. They will present their successful examples of tackling these challenges, and their presentations will cover various industrial fields such as aerospace, heavy machineries, automobile, manufacturing and electronics.

We are pleased to invite Professor Kozo Fujii from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) as our key note speaker on the first day of the conference (October 10) to give his speech entitled "Large-scale CFD from demonstration to a key technology for new frontiers". On the second day (October 11), Professor Shinsuke Kato from Tokyo University's Institute of Industrial Science is invited to give his speech regarding use of CFD-based optimization in urban architecture and environment, which is entitled "Optimization of Room Environment Design Based on CFD". Furthermore, developers of our software products are invited to give updates on new releases and future plans of their software and to exchange opinions and information.
